At 16:42 AEDT the Victorian CFA issued a Watch and Act alert for a fast moving grassfire in the Yendon, Lal Lal, Mount Egerton area.
It is travelling in a south easterly direction.
This fire is expected to impact Lal Lal, Mount Egerton anytime within the next 2 hours.
This grassfire is approximately 13 hectares in size and is out of control, currently creating spot-fires approximately 1-2km/s ahead.
Campers in the Lal Lal - Bungal Dam reservoir area as well as the communities of Yendon, Lal Lal and Mt Egerton need to enact their fire plans and remain vigilant.
Meanwhile 1450 AEST the Victorian CFA issued a Watch and Act alert for a large, fast moving bushfire in the Hotham Heights, Dinner Plain area.
This bushfire is approximately 10,000 hectares in size and is out of control, currently creating spot-fires ahead.
The area of the Great Alpine Road, Dargo High Plains Road, including Hotham Heights, Dinner Plain, the Wongungarra River north of Dargo is unsafe to enter and you should leave that area immediately .
The Great Alpine Road is closed between Harrietville and Dinner Plain.
The Dargo High Plains Road is closed between Dargo and Great Alpine Road.
Victorian CFA has also issued a Watch and Act alert for a large, fast moving bushfire in the Glenfalloch, Wollangarra areas, 10 kilometres south of Licola.
This bushfire is approximately 75,000 hectares in size and is out of control, currently creating spot-fires.
Fire is spotting 5km ahead and has crossed the Macalister River west of the Licola Road, south of Glenfalloch.
More DSE machinery is on the way to construct control lines west of Glenfalloch.
The Heyfield Licola road is closed at the intersection with Glenmaggie Point road, accessible from Licola to Heyfield.
A large plume of smoke is very visible across the region.
Ash and burnt leaves are falling across a wide area south and east of the fire.
