Senior Labor MPs are again batting away talk of a leadership change after a new account of the Prime Ministerial coup emerged - written by Kevin Rudd himself.
According to The Sunday Telegraph - Mr Rudd's description of the spill was provided to Maxine McKew for her new book.
Mr Rudd says he was stunned by the coup, and he'd repeatedly told Julia Gillard and other senior colleagues that she would be his successor.
Senior Labor figure Simon Crean has declared it was "a mistake" to dump Kevin Rudd as leader - but warned MPs they can't go back to the past.
