Ten years on from the Bali bombings, a big turn-out is expected at Dolphin Point in Sydney's east for today's memorial service, to remember those who lost their lives.

Families and friends of those killed, survivors of the 2002 bombings and dignitaries will be at the Bali memorial overlooking the sea at Coogee for the service starting at 10am (AEDT).

The bombs that ripped through two Kuta nightclubs on October 12, 2002 claimed the lives of 202 people, including 88 Australians, among them six members of the Coogee Dolphins rugby league club and three members of the Forbes rugby union club in central west New South Wales.

Twenty eastern suburbs Sydney locals were among 43 victims from New South Wales.
