Firefighters will continue to patrol the bushfire at Wyee on the NSW central coast, although it has been contained.
The Rural Fire Service (RFS) says firefighters have reported that a number of large trees have fallen or lost limbs as a result of the fire and it's still not safe for people to enter fire-affected areas near Lake Macquarie.
The RFS says the 120-hectare blaze at Pretty Beach and Lobster Beach, near Gosford, is still burning but is under control and residents are asked to proceed with caution because there will be a lot of heavy vehicles moving around the affected area while firefighters continue to mop-up.
The Bouddi National Park is closed until further notice while crews assess trees damaged by fire.
At least 20 homes along High View Road were evacuated on Friday as flames fanned by gusty winds headed towards their properties.
The RFS website lists more than 60 fires across NSW including eight hazard-reduction burns.
