Police have resumed a search for a 13-year-old boy feared drowned after a dinghy overturned on a lake in the NSW Hunter Valley.
The Newcastle boy was paddling with his 16-year-old friend in Lake Liddell on Saturday when it overturned, throwing them both into the water.
The older teenager tried to save his friend, but the younger boy disappeared under the surface.
Police say the search resumed at first light, with recreational boats enlisted to help.
