Firefighters in New South Wales are battling 60 fires burning across the state, as temperatures enter the high 30s.
Crews are focusing their efforts on fires in the Hawkesbury, Lithgow, Eurobodalla, Bega and Narrabri areas.
A total fire ban is in place for much of New South Wales, and an extreme fire danger warning has been issued for the Greater Hunter and Greater Sydney areas.
Fire crews have been kept busy this month with the hottest November on record.
