South Korea says North Korea is continuing to fire ballistic missiles off its eastern coast in a violation of UN resolutions and an apparent message of defiance to the US on its Independence Day.
The launches came two days after North Korea fired four short-range missiles.
North Korea's banned from firing ballistic missiles, but Thursday's missile launch didn't violate that resolution as they were cruise missiles.
North Korea had warned ships to stay away from its east coast through July 10 for military exercises.
South Korea and Japan have condemned the launches as a provocative act that violates the UN resolution.
