Australian company USocial is offering a service that finds extra Twitter followers for marketers.

It offers blocks of up to 100,000 followers, starting at 87 US dollars for one thousand.

USocial claims around 150 businesses and individuals have paid for the service.

It finds followers by tracking users' interests.

It then messages them with suggestions on 'befriending' related clients.

USocial says one client is a yoga instructor, and another is a religious organisation.

Last year uSocial got a 'cease and desist' order from news aggregator Digg for helping clients buy votes on the site.
