Japan's Kei Nishikori has climbed six places to 16th in the latest edition of the ATP Tour's rankings.
The 23-year-old has steadily improved in recent years and he showed his quality with victory in the Memphis Open on Sunday.
Nishikori defeated Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in straight sets to win his third ATP Tour tournament.
The top 10 was unchanged despite eighth-ranked Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France enjoying success last week.
Tsonga came from behind to beat top seed Tomas Berdych at the Open 13 in Marseille.
Serbian Novak Djokovic remains on top of the pile with 12,960 points while Swiss maestro Roger Federer (9855) and Scot Andy Murray (8480) are second and third respectively.
Spaniard David Ferrer #8211; who also won a title last week in Buenos Aires #8211; is fourth with 6865 points while his compatriot Rafael Nadal is fifth with 5755.
Lopez moved up 12 places to number 35 in the rankings courtesy of his final appearance in the United States.
In the women's rankings, former world number one Venus Williams moved back inside the top 20.
Williams did not gain any more points but German's Julia Goerges crashed to 24th allowing the 32-year-old American to make ground.
Another former top-ranked player, Serbia's Jelena Jankovic moved up three places to 21st after winning the Bogota Open on Sunday.
Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic beat Italian Sara Errani in the final of the WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship and as a result they swapped places in the top 10.
Kvitova moved above Errani into seventh with the latter dropping one place.
American Serena Williams remains just ahead of Belarusian Victoria Azarenka in a tight battle for the top ranking in the women's game.
