Melbourne amateur Su-Hyun Oh is challenging for the outright lead early on the second day of the 54-hole Ladies Masters at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.

Korean-born OH - the youngest player to ever qualify for the Australian Women's Open at the age of 12 - moved to six under with four birdies to get within two shots of American leader Alison Walshe who was eight under for the tournament.

Conditions are ideal for low scoring with Australians Karrie Webb, who is six shot back, and Stacey Keating, four off the pace, hitting off this afternoon.
