The Bushrangers will resume at six for 103 in reply to the Bulls' first innings dig of 149 with Matthew Wade not out 38.
Earlier Usman Khawaja top scored with 28 as Queensland suffered a batting collapse - at one stage losing three for five in 12 balls.
