Big guns Kim Clijsters and Li Na are set for Australian Open final sequel at Melbourne Park.

Clijsters, though, will find it impossible to dodge the spotlight on Sunday when she squares off with Li Na in an eagerly-awaited sequel to last year's final at Melbourne Park.

It could well be the last time Australian fans see Aussie Kim' in action down under, with the tennis super-mum intent on retiring at the end of this year.

Typically, though, the popular 11th seed isn't complaining about striking the sixth-ranked Li in the fourth round rather than later in the tournament like such a marquee match-up deserves.

'In a grand slam, every draw is tough,' Clijsters said after reaching the last 16 without dropping a set.

'You're going to be in a situation where you're going to be in the fourth round and it's always going to be tough in the fourth round. You have some tough players out there.

'So in a way it's going to be nice to play Li Na, to have the final from last year because it was such a great match for both of us to be a part of.'

Clijsters, who missed much of 2011 through injury, had been in doubt for the Open after withdrawing from the Brisbane International with a hip complaint.

But the 28-year-old declared the hip 'no problem' after her 6-3 6-2 dispatch of Daniela Hantuchova in round three.

Li is also looking forward to returning to Rod Laver Arena almost exactly 12 months after she last took on Clijsters in her maiden grand slam final.

The reigning French Open champion said losing the 2011 decider was where she actually gained the belief that major glory was indeed possible.

'Last year was the first time to be the finals. I didn't have any experience for the grand slam final,' Li said.

'After that match, I was feeling I really can win the grand slam ... after Australia, I think I (could do) well in the French Open.'
