While the win is the most important thing for the Breakers in their last home game on Thursday night at the North Shore Events Centre, an eight point win would secure a season split over its opponent, the Gold Coast Blaze.

That could prove vital if both teams are left on 15 wins a piece at season's end.

Coming off the back of its 88-60 win over the Wollongong Hawks last week, the Breakers will be confident.

In that game Tony Ronaldson became the eighth Breaker to score 1000 points and before his retirement is completed he has a chance to reach seventh-placed Mike Chappell on 1034 points.

Dillon Boucher moved 200 steals for the club in the game.

Against the Blaze, Rick Rickert needs six rebounds to join the 600 Club, making him third on the Breakers' all-time list while Boucher needs two assists to make it 400 for the club and two defensive rebounds would see him achieve 300.
