The ACT Labor and Liberal parties will both be chasing Greens support this week to form minority government this week.
The ACT's complex Hare-Clark voting system, based on proportional representation, could again leave power in the hands of a minority Labor regime despite a huge swing to the Liberals.
So far, Labor and the Liberals are certain of seven seats each with the Greens to hold the balance of power because neither party will get nine seats for majority rule.
The Liberals are expected pick up one more seat, for a total of eight, meaning it would hold more seats than Labor, but ACT Liberal senator GARY HUMPHRIES is concerned the Greens will side with Labor.
