Russian divers from the city of Orenburg, southeast of Moscow, held their Christmas celebrations at the bottom of the local swimming pool.
The divers were kilometres from the nearest sea but were determined to practice their diving skills.
Christmas decorations, food and drinks were lowered to the floor of the pool where the group celebrated.
The divers even managed to pop champagne bottles underwater, drinking straight from the bottle.
