A 75-year-old Chinese woman has shot to fame with her basketball skills.
Zhu Shumei from China's eastern Zhejiang province has been dubbed 'Basketball Granny' for her talents on the Basketball court, state media reports.
She has never stopped playing the game and practices regularly in Jinhua city where she is a celebrity at the Zhejiang Normal University courts.
Zhu never realized her dream of becoming a professional player because at only 1.5 meters tall, she was considered too short to play.
Recently, Zhu has experienced a host of health issues, including cataracts and heart disease, but she still practices every day at 7am and attempts 200 shots.
With only a small pension and limited living expenses provided by her son, it has been difficult for Zhu to afford the expensive prescriptions she has to take.
Students at Zhejiang University have organized a charity event to help Zhu with her finances so she can keep shooting hoops.
