A nine-year-old boy is being treated in hospital after being pulled from the water unconscious at a popular South Brisbane swimming pool.
The Department of Community Safety says the boy was pulled from the water unconscious about 4pm (AEST) at South Bank Beach.
Concerned onlookers called emergency services and began CPR.
Paramedics arrived on the scene about 4:30pm and he was taken for hospital for treatment.
