The weather Bureau says New South Wales residents can expect more storms today, after the state was lashed yesterday.
Trees brought down powerlines, houses were inundated and a family had to be evacuated in yesterday's storms, which moved across the Blue Mountains and western Sydney before travelling up to the mid-north coast and beyond.
In addition, six thousand people remain isolated across the north of the state, with the SES monitoring waters as they move south.
