Two teenage German tourists are in hospital after they were hit by a cab in Sydney's CBD.
Emergency services were called to George Street about 3am (AEDT) on Saturday after two women were knocked down by a taxi, police said.
Several witnesses said they saw the women, both aged 19, run into the path of the cab.
One was taken to St Vincent's with a fractured wrist where she is undergoing surgery, while the other was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with cuts to her arm and head.
The 55-year-old taxi driver returned a negative breath test at the scene and has been released pending further investigation.
