A Brisbane teenager charged with assaulting a security guard and drug possession is among 25 schoolies arrested by police in Surfers Paradise.
Police laid 31 charges against the 25 schoolies which is comparable to the same time last year but crowds were significantly higher last night with an estimated 25,000 attending the end of school celebrations.
Most arrests for schoolies and non-schoolies were for public nuisance, drunk and street offences.
