Spain's main trade unions have called a general strike for November 14, coinciding with similar demonstrations in Portugal and Greece, to protest government-imposed austerity measures and labour reforms.

The Workers' Commissions and General Workers' unions called the general strike - the second to be held in Spain this year.

A partially successful stoppage was held March 29.
