The Australian share market has opened a quarter of a per cent lower.
At the open today, the benchmark SP/ASX200 index was down 12.4 points at 4,547, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 11.1 points at 4,569.8.
On the ASX 24, the December share price index futures contract was down 11 points at 4,539, with 6,743 contracts traded.
