Jacobs Engineering Group Inc says it has acquired Australian information technology company Unique World.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The engineering and construction services firm, based in Pasadena, California, said the deal allows it to expand its capabilities in Australia and its services with existing customers like the Department of Defence and commercial businesses.
Jacobs said in a statement it views information technology services to be a particularly strong market, and the deal helps its strategy to grow key markets in locations outside the United States.
