Beatles fans are in for a treat this month, with Ringo Starr set to tour the country.
It will be the first time Starr has performed in Australia in almost half a century, and he is expecting a quieter welcome this time around.
Starr described the reaction of fans when the Beatles toured Australia in 1964 as 'crazy'.
He returns with his band the All-Starrs - beginning their tour in Brisbane on February 11 before stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Audience members can expect a playlist including Yellow Submarine, Matchbox, Honey Don't and It Don't Come Easy.
Starr met with members of the Australian press in Hollywood and performed a few songs including With a Little Help from My Friends.
