Katie Holmes clothing line, Holmes Yang, will not show at New York Fashion Week and the preview for the 2013-14 collection is 'by appointment only'.

The actress and her stylist Jeanne Yang have their own clothing collection, Holmes Yang, and while they presented at NFW last September, they will not have a show next month.

A spokesperson on behalf of the brand said they would be previewing the Holmes Yang autumn/winter 2013-14 collection 'by appointment only'.

Speaking about their collection, Katie recently enthused: 'It is very simple, with very classic lines. We use a lot of silks and leathers and suedes. This year, we're excited because we've incorporated a lot of new trims. It's basically pieces that have evolved from basics, but not too far.'

After making her debut at NFW, former 'Dawson's Creek' star Katie said it was a huge 'honour' to present at the prestigious event.

She said: 'It's an honour to present here. It felt like a very natural step because it's not a whole big fashion show, it's a presentation.

'It reflects the way that we design and the way we've always run our business, which is very quietly and relaxed. So we felt that this was a natural step to have more of an audience and show more buyers.'
