Nine will move reality weight-loss program Excess Baggage to its digital channel Go! due to disappointing ratings.
It will be replaced on Nine with the US comedy The Big Bang Theory, which will air five days a week.
Excess Baggage was meant to secure Nine the 7pm timeslot against Ten's rival reality weight-loss show The Biggest Loser and Seven's long-running soap Home and Away.
But Excess Baggage consistently rated around 600 thousand viewers, behind both Seven and Ten's offerings in the timeslot.
Last night the reality show dropped even further in the ratings with just 474 thousand tuning in, making it the 23rd most-watched show.
Home and Away was the sixth most-watched show, while The Biggest Loser ranked 11th.
The most-watched show of the evening was Seven's My Kitchen Rules.
