The Wiggles have announced that Greg Page, the original Yellow Wiggle, is reuniting with the children's band.

Greg will resume his place alongside old friends Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt.

Sam Moran, the fill-in Yellow Wiggle for the past five years, offered to step aside when hearing of Greg's ability to return to the group.

'I am very proud of my five years as the Yellow Wiggle and the group's continued success with me as their lead singer,' said Sam Moran.

'I have enjoyed every minute of my nine years touring with the group, but I now look forward to new opportunities and more time spent with my wife and twoyear- old daughter,' he added.

Greg, a founding member of the Wiggles in 1991, was forced to resign due to illness.

'We thank Sam for his wonderful contribution to the group for the past five years. He joined at a difficult time for Greg and the group, and we're so grateful for all he has done,' said Wiggles Manager Paul Field.

'Sam is a gifted singer and we're pleased that Wiggles Productions will continue to support him by making Hot Potato Studios available to him for future projects,' added Field.

According to Greg, this is an extraordinary moment in his personal history with the group.

'This takes me full circle. I'm excited to be back with my friends and to be entertaining our incredible fans again. I didn't get a chance to say farewell last time, so this is an opportunity I couldn't refuse. I'm feeling great and looking forward to doing what I love,' Greg said.

He starts back with the Wiggles immediately and will help with future productions including a new CD, DVD and television content, plus local and international tours
