Opera in the Domain attracts thousands

Thousands of people have turned out in Sydney last night for the annual Opera in the Domain.

It was a beautiful night for the Leonard Bernstein comedy as festival goers sipped champagne under clear skies and a full moon.

The show was opened by radio duo Hamish and Andy.

Comedian Paul McDermott featured in the performance.
