Delta Goodrem has scored a big break in the US, but not through the normal channels.
The Aussie pop princess was performing at a radio station when she was invited to a party next door to meet some people.
An inpromptu performance later, she's been invited to sing with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli at his American Christmas concerts.
Delta was unaware, the party was for producer David Foster who's steered the careers of the likes of Celine Dion, Michael Buble and Josh Groban.
