Angela Lansbury is set to make her much anticipated return to musical theatre, and Catherine Zeta-Jones will make her Broadway debut.
The pair is set to star in a revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music which will begin its run in December.
'It's lovely, to be surrounded with Stephen's music, every day, in rehearsal, piano, getting to sing 'Liaisons,' which is the song, the name of the song that I perform, which is one of the great, great songs you could possibly imagine,' Lansbury told Reuters.
Zeta-Jones said she was honoured to work with the veteran actor.
'I couldn't wish for a better co-star in Angela,' she told Reuters. 'I mean, she's just a wonderful, open actor, you know, and she's a giving actor, and for somebody who is Angela Lansbury, for us mere mortals, she doesn't intimidate us at all, and she really is a hands-on part of the team.'
