Queensland has attracted one of the biggest budget films to be shot in Australia.
The multi-million dollar Chronicles of Narnia Voyage of Dawn Treader will be filmed on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane this year.
Premier Anna Bligh says the Walden Media/Twentieth Century Fox feature film will employ about 2,000 Queenslanders during production.
She says it will possibly be the highest budget feature film ever shot in Queensland.
Voyage of Dawn Treader is the third book of The Chronicles of Narnia fantasy novels by CS Lewis.
The film will be directed by Michael Apted - known for films such as Gorillas in the Mist and the James Bond blockbuster, The World Is Not Enough.
